Labor of Love

At about 11 pm my client called to let me know she figured tonight would be the night - she called it. Weeks prior she told me " I think he will be born on March 5"

Sure enough- by 2 am the doula had called with an update, and told me to get my things.

After I arrived the mama labored well into the morning, and her babe made a fast and furious arrival earthside.

The Birth Of Theo

Theo gave his parents a hectic adventure bringing him earthside. Almost a week of labor, before this little one made his entry into the world.

I had the pleasure of documenting bits and pieces of their labor, up to the birth of Theo. Immediately postpartum an emergency occurred, and as the Auntie of sweet Theo, I got to embrace my sweet nephew while my Sister was attended to by her fantastic birth team, husband and mom.

Baby and Mom are doing fantastic.
